The University maintains long-established relationships with a wide range of partner institutions and student sponsors. The International Office is the first point of contact for international organisations who wish to develop closer links with the University or place students at Newcastle.

Sponsored students
Many of our students are supported by organisations that wish their employees or scholars to benefit from studying at Newcastle. Suitable programmes range from English language preparation and summer schools to degrees and PhDs.
We also offer shorter courses to assist continuing professional development and can often tailor courses to an organisation's needs. The International Office supports sponsoring organisations in a variety of ways, including assisting with the application process and providing regular student progress reports.
