There are many ways in which you can help contribute to our mission of understanding the brain and behaviour. We encourage public involvement in all our events, activites and work programmes to help communicate the aims of our mission and to develop improved treatments available for those suffering with disorders of the brain and nervous system.

Here are some ways you can get involved:

  • Research Volunteers - find out more about the amazing brain and personally contribute to advance our research techinques and proceedures and above all make a difference
  • Research Partners - we are proud to collaborate with and develop partnerships with specific institutes globally to help further develop our understanding of the amazing brain
  • Support Us - we are grateful to the many individuals and charitable organisation who offer sponsorship, fundraising and donations to help fund our mission
  • Ambassadors Programme - designed to raise awareness of neuroscience research and introduce it as a potential field of study
  • Brain Awareness Week - we are keen to raise awareness of neuroscience and we continually strive to deliver creative and innovative events and activities where the public can learn more about this fascinating field of research
  • Work Experience / Internships - gain specific research experience in our voluntary research assistant opportunities
  • Undergraduate Vacation Studentships - find out what research is really like by working on your own paid research project
  • Research Summer School - the Research Summer School programme offers the chance to embark on an eight week research project with a member of the institute
  • Business - some of our research projects are funded by commercial organisations as collaborative projects or as commercial contracts
