European Academy of Childhood Disability Conference

This years EACD conference will take place at The Sage, Gateshead in October 2013.

The largest annual conference in Europe on paediatric neurodisability will be held in the UK this year for the first time since 2003.

The theme of the conference is: From Basic Research to Policy, and it is sure that the three days of keynote speeches, oral and poster presentations will produce some interesting debates.

The keynote speakers include two from Newcastle University: Kate Bushby and Susan Lindsay, and also Colin Blakemore, Naila Khan, Dainias Puras, Tom Shakespeare and Marshalyn Yeargin-Alsopp.

The deadline for abstract submission has been extended until 31st May 2013, more details can be found on the conference homepage.
