The Noise

Professor Tim Griffiths (IoN) has been advising on the science behind a new murder mystery play.

Running from Friday 4th October to Saturday 12th October at Northern Stage. The play 'The Noise' is a collaboration between Unlimited Theatre and Northern Stage.

The play is a murder mystery set on an isolated island with the addition that on the island is an ever present 'Noise' which makes the inhabitants different. 

Professor Tim Griffiths Professor of Cognitive Neurology and Head of the Auditory Cognition group at Newcastle University has been an advisor for the play. In terms of how sounds can affect people and their behaviour. If you are interested in the science behind the story there will be a special pre-show discussion on Tuesday 8th October at 6.30 pm.
