Doug Turnbull, Professor of Neurology has been awarded a Knighthood in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.
We are delighted to celebrate the success of Doug Turnbull, a member of the Institute of Neuroscience and son of the North East. He has dedicated his professional life to making a real difference for people with mitochondrial disorders.
Doug represents that rare breed of clinical academic who has the ability to relate so well to his patients, yet is also able to lead laboratory science of the highest international calibre.
