Introduction and area of work:

I studied Computer Science and Genetics at the University of Cape Town, graduating in 2004. I then spent a few years working in various roles in the private sector, including software development, before moving back to research and completing an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of York. I’m currently enrolled in my first year of an MRes/PhD programme in systems neuroscience at Newcastle University.
