Primary Supervisor: Professor Janet Eyre
Research group: Developmental Neuroscience
I studied my undergraduate degree in Italy at the University La Sapienza di Roma. I graduated with a 110 in Physics (Physics of Biosystem) in April 2005. I started my PhD in October 2005. I am looking into the development of neural networks in man.
I work in the developmental neuroscience group at the Sir James Spence Institute with my supervisors Professor Janet Eyre and Doctor Gavin Clowry. I am interested in the study of potential pattern of neural activity that could help and favour rehabilitation in children and in the elderly after unilateral stroke.
In my spare time, I am working in the development of game design and graphics for videogames to improve the physiotherapy of children with cerebral palsy.
