Research Interests

Research Methodology, Statistics, Data Processing in Health Services Research and Medical Research

Large simple randomised controlled trials, complex technology assessment using randomised controlled trials and other research designs, surveys of patients, medical, nursing and therapy staff and relatives.
Questionnaire/CRF design for postal questionnaires, interview questionnaires, observation, abstraction.
Clinical areas include neurosurgery, neuroradiology, community maternity care, elderly care, orthopaedics, primary care and cover processes and outcomes of service use, resource implications, interprofessional collaboration and teamwork.
Analysis includes SPSS, multivariate analysis, logistic regression, pragmatic and explanatory trials and survey analysis.
