Dan Jackson
Research Developer
I graduated from the University of York after studying for a 
MEng
in Computer Systems and Software Engineering. I joined Lexicle and helped to
produce the world’s first web-based 3D embodied conversational agent.
My work included extensive programming of 3D graphics, web-delivered content,
and, more recently, developing software for mobile devices and computer vision.
I am looking forward to my new position at Newcastle, in particular to collaborating
with staff from across the University and the opportunity to work with the Virtual
Reality facilities.
