Drawing on many years of experience, Television Services provides a wide range of video and audio services for the University, including broadcast-quality programme production. We are able to produce media on DVD, VHS or CD, files for web-streaming, or files for use in PowerPoint. Studio-based, point-to-point or multi-site videoconferencing continues to be one of our most popular services.
The Data Management Service provides software, services and systems for the collection, management and interpretation of data.
NorMAN is a high-speed network connecting the five Universities and 24 FE and 6th-form colleges in the North East of England. NorMAN delivers the basic JANET service, and aids collaborative working within the region and is able to support the use of video-conferencing and applications sharing between two or more partners.
