The essential planned maintenance to all SAP systems has been completed ahead of schedule, and all SAP services (including web portals) are now available for use.

Any users still experiencing problems should contact the Helpdesk (ext. 5999).

Original report:  SAP unavailable 8th - 13th April 2010

All SAP systems (including web portals) will unfortunately be unavailable on the following dates the weekend after Easter weekend, due to essential planned activities.

• 4 days from 17:00 on Thursday 8/04/10 to 08:30 on Tuesday 13/04/10 -  to allow for the implementation of the new SAP CRM system in King’s Gate. This new system will support the operations of the new Student Interaction Centre.
  
  Unfortunately all systems will have to be closed down during this period to allow for the integration/synchronisation of the new CRM system with all existing main SAP services.

The following services will be affected:

• All SAP systems e.g. Campus Management; HR; Payroll; Finance; Purchasing and Sales, (including the web portals)
• Business Warehouse (BW) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
• The following SAP related Web Services:
  o Online Expenses - https://myworkplace.ncl.ac.uk/irj/portal
  o Student Self Service (S3P) - https://s3p.ncl.ac.uk/login/index.aspx
