Update 09/02/10: The scheduled maintenance has now been completed and all services should now be back to normal.
Update: this work, originally planned for 02/02/10, has now been re-scheduled. There will very brief outage during At Risk period on 08/02/10 due to re-routing of cables will affect those with VOIP telephones (primarily Dove Marine Laboratory, Leazes Terrace).
Original Report: Possible brief interruption to VOIP telephony service
Due to forthcoming maintenance work, the VOIP telephony service must be switched to another set of cables. This change will occur during the At Risk period on Tuesday, 8th February 2010.
There will be a brief interruption of service (~1 minute) when this occurs, however the VOIP telephony service should beconsidered At Risk during the whole maintenance period.
This should only affect a small number of users: the Dove Marine Laboratory, Leazes Terrace, and a few users in King's Gate and ISS.
