The ISS Exchange service allows users to read email both at work and off campus, share individual folders/calendars, schedule meetings and use public folders for departmental group work. The service is secure and backed up frequently.
Typically, Outlook and Outlook Web Access (OWA) are the supported default clients used to access the Exchange system, however in a small number of cases other clients can be used.
The Exchange service is available to everyone in the University and is the default email and collaboration system for staff and students. There are still legacy email systems in place, however they are slowly being phased out.
