Macinfo

This mailing list "Macinfo" is used for

  • Self-help: if you have a problem with your Mac hardware or software, you can ask your fellow Mac users if they have had and solved a similar problem.
  • Publication of Mac-related information by Information Systems & Services.

Macinfo aims to be low-traffic (a few messages a week). To keep it this way, we ask that, if you reply to a message, you do so to the sender only (this is the default) and not to the whole list. However, if you ask a question to which you receive useful replies, you should send a summary of the replies to the list, so that everyone benefits.

This list is open for all staff and students at Newcastle University.

To join Macinfo

Go to https://lists.ncl.ac.uk/wws/info/macinfo, click on Subscribe, confirm that you want to subscribe to the list, enter your email address and click submit.

To leave Macinfo

Go to https://lists.ncl.ac.uk/, login with your University login name in the "Newcastle Web Login" box (top left-hand box), click macinfo under Your Lists then click Unsubscribe
