Internet Explorer version 8 and 9

Some portal functionality doesn't display correctly and raises scripting errors when used with Internet Explorer version 8 and 9.

The problem can be resolved by enabling Compatibility View, a feature delivered with these versions of the browser.

To activate Compatibility View, either select the toolbar button indicated below (this appears when scripting errors are encountered in the browser),
or select Tools -> Compatibility View Settings from the browser menu, and add 'ncl.ac.uk' to the list of web sites.
