The Wireless service
The name (SSID) of the campus wireless network is "magpie" (no encryption).
Wireless is widely available on campus (see the Locations web page). Provision in Halls is very limited, being uneconomical in such buildings.
Note that wireless access points can have a range of up to 100 metres, but range depends upon intervening objects and walls.
