Voice over Internet Protocol
VOIP is the acronym used to mean telephone services over Internet connections. The best-known of these at present is Skype.
For more information on using Skpe on campus, visit the ISS Skype tip.
Users are encouraged to make use of the support and FAQs section on the Skype website for most troubleshooting assistance. However, ISS will employ our best endeavors to assist.
We recommend that staff wishing to using VOIP consult their local (School) Computing Officers; students are best advised to consult a friend who has succeeded in using VOIP or visit the Laptop Clinic in the Old Library for advice.
