RAS (Remote Application Service) provides a method of using University IT facilities – software, printers, internal web pages, and your own filestore – 24/7 from any Internet connection, in particular from your own computer.
The system is easy to use and works on all operating systems (Windows, Linux, and Apple Macintosh). Access is via your Web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.).
There is now a very large number of applications available; and we provide the vast majority of ISS Cluster PC applications through RAS[1].
