Videoconferencing
Internal (University) Customers
If you have not used our videoconferencing facilities before, please read the following carefully before proceeding to book a
videoconference.
Standard facilities included in the free of charge service include:
- On-site technical assistance throughout your conference
- Six seat conference desk
- Twin multi-directional desk microphones
- Twin 50" plasma monitors and 1 32" preview monitor
Additional
chargeable facilities can include out of hours use, seating for additional
participants/audience of up to 25, hand held radio microphones, manned cameras, multipoint connections, fully networked pc,
laptop connections, S-VHS and DVD players, document camera and videoconference recording.
Videoconferencing charges
Out of hours charges are £30 per hour weekdays and £40 per hour weekends.
All videoconferences have a minimum one hour fee. A minimum two hour fee is charged for our out of hours service between 00:00
– 08:30 and anytime at weekends.
ISDN Call charges within the UK:
- 2 channel ISDN = £7 per hour.
- 6 channel ISDN = £20 per hour.
Call charges outside the UK are available on request.
