Venues and support

We currently support and manage two videoconferencing venues on Campus.

William Leech Building, Medical School

Based within our TV Studio this venue is able to accomodate six people as standard.  Equipment includes muli-directional microphones, twin 50" plasma displays and a 32" preview monitor and allows both and IP single or multi-point video conferences.

Other additional facilities can be provided by prior arrangement including:-

  • Out of hours use (labour charges will apply)
  • seating for additional participants/audience of up to 25
  • hand held radio microphones
  • manned cameras
  • videoconference recording
  • PC presentations and data sharing

On-site technical assistance is available throughout your conference

Claremont Bridge, Room 4.21

This venue can accomodate up to ten people and is set up in boardroom style.  Equipment includes two 47" LCD screens, presentation equipment and allows IP single or multi-point videoconferencing

Whilst the facilities provided are as self-operational as possible we are also able to offer pre-booked, in-person technical support (subject to resource availability) either at the start of, or throughout your videoconference
