Regular University Staff must complete the Staff Registration form and should also be registered in the University HR System with a SAP/personnel number. The IT Service Desk can arrange for an account to be set up in advance of a new member of staff starting employment with the university. Please contact the IT Service Desk with the new starter’s details.

Please note their status on the registration form, including the expiry date. The Head of School or Service (or their official Deputy) must countersign the form for all other categories of staff.

The Staff Development Unit offers an invaluable Introduction to University IT Services Workshop for new staff to introduce significant aspects of University computing facilities; this is backed up by the Staff IT Induction Handbook available from the Staff Development Unit.
ISS (Assistive Technology) offers a "one-to-one" session for disabled staff, which covers this syllabus and includes an opportunity to customise settings to suit individual needs. To arrange a session please contact the IT Service Desk.
