ISS Provide a number of standard clusters and a number of specialist clusters, all clusters contain the standard set of software packages which include (in addition to standard software such as a pdf reader, flash player and media players).

These are located in the Tree, Yard and Side Clusters. The Side cluster in the Bedson Building is open 24 hours. All machines have specialist hardware capable of running large simulations. Prioirty is given to Engineering students for these machines. If you are able to move to a standard PC when asked, please do so.
A number of Legacy applications which are mainly only used by Medical Sciences and Agriculture are available in the following locations

The core set of software does not generally change during the academic year as they are used for teaching, the smaller utilities will be updated as new versions are released.
