All our teaching PCs run the ISS managed desktop so you will be able to access files on your filestore (H:/ drive or my documents) as well as using portable media such as USB pens or CD/DVDs
They all operate on Windows 7 and have the following additional software installed:-
The software above is a 'lite' version of what is available in ISS clusters. Less software allows more efficient and effective management of the computers thus increasing system speed and reliability.
If you require additional software installing on a PC, please contact the IT Service Desk on 5999 or it.servicedesk@ncl.ac.uk and we will do our best to install it for you.
Please note that we can only install software that is available as a group policy.
