Issues affecting photocopying in the Walton, Philip Robinson and Law Libraries

Issue resolved 12:50, 19/05/2017: The issues with photocopiers in the below locations are now resolved. If you experience any further problems, please contact the IT Service Desk (it.servicedesk@ncl.ac.uk / 0191 208 5999). 

Update 16:45, 18/05/2017: We continue to work with our external supplier to restore the service. A further update will be provided tomorrow morning (19/05/2017).

Update 16:35 17/05/2017: We are working with our external supplier to restore the photocopying service in affected areas.

The flatbed scanning and student printing services are both unaffected, so as a workaround (where possible) in the meantime, please scan and print any items you wish to copy. We will provide a further update when it is available. 

Issue: We are aware of issues currently affecting printing and photocopying in the Walton, Philip Robinson and Law Libraries.

The message "Login failed - please re-present smartcard" is appearing when using smartcard to print or copy.

This is being investigated and further updates will be provided when available.
