Rules of Use
All users of the University's computing facilities are bound by Rules of Use. The purposes of the Rules are:
- to ensure proper usage;
- to reflect the University's Regulations;
- to reflect UK laws and statutes.
The University publishes Statements on Internet Use as a guidance for acceptable use.
Infringement of the Rules may result in suspension of your Login Name, without notice. Penalties vary from fines and University sanctions, through to possible criminal prosecution. The University's Student Disciplinary Procedures are published by the Student Progress Service.
Use of the facilities may be monitored at any time: see the Statement on Internet Use for details.
