Assistance with the procurement of exchange lines and broadband connections from external network suppliers (such as BT, Thus, Virgin Media) on behalf of schools, faculties and services in circumstances where connection to the University’s telephone or data network is not possible or appropriate.
This includes liaison with the suppliers, provision of costs and arrangement for the installation of the exchange line or broadband connection.
All University schools, faculties and services (with authority from the Head of School, Faculty or Service)
Consultation, advice and guidance: 09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday, excluding University closure periods.
Delivery will be as per network supplier lead times. This will be confirmed by ISS when the service is ordered.

To have the appropriate authority to request the service and to provide the following information on an authorised internal PO, when requested: delivery address for service, contact details at address, account code for recharges, costs of service.
