- Use of the Smartcard will be subject to all current University student regulations and policies and all staff employment policies.
- When used within specific areas of the University current local regulations will apply, e.g. library regulations within the Library.
- The policy to wear Smartcard badges is not compulsory except in highly restricted areas, but it is hoped that by encouraging staff to wear ID it will reduce some security risks and help improve identification. Holders for Smartcards can be obtained via the Safety Office.
