FAME (Framework for Multi-Agency Environments)

Project Website

FAME is an ODPM National e-Government Project involving a set of English local authorities developing and deploying multi agency information systems. Our responsibility is for the Generic Framework and the learning and Evaluation work streams. The services being researched are for child protection, IRT, children with disabilities, mental health, vulnerable older people and revenue and benefits. In addition to working with the local authorities we are working with two software suppliers in building the generic framework whose purpose is to provide guidance for follow on local authorities. Its scope includes the legal duties and powers underpinning the services, information sharing, information system infrastructure, multi agency governance and sustainability.

The technical integration architecture (Version November 30, 2003).
