Roles and Responsibilities
My role as Clerical Research Officer is to provide project co-ordination for research and third strand activities within KITE. I assist in the preparation of proposals at pre award stage as well as the effective management of projects at post award stage.
In addition, I am currently (until February 2010) the “Acting” Research Support Coordinator for the Business School which encompasses all aspects of research administration and policy for the School and designated research groups, ensuring strict deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
Previous Positions
I have been employed with Newcastle University since 1990. Prior to joining KITE in January 2007, I worked in the Centre for Urban and Regional Development Studies (CURDS) progressing from an Office Junior to a Secretary.
