Dr Simon Parry is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Prior to becoming a full-time lecturer he worked in various accounting and management roles in practice, industry and the public sector and ran his own business for many years.

Research interests focus on the relationship between accounting practices and organisational form, strategy and culture and how accounting impacts on the growth and development of small businesses.
Current work focuses on environmental responsibility and dosclosure practices in micro-businesses.
