We can help you learn a language. We offer different kinds of support at the Centre, so you can choose how you want to learn.

One-to-one sessions

This is a great way to start learning a language. Our language advisers will help create a language learning plan that's right for you.

Advisers are available for French, Spanish, German, Russian and English.

Weekly surgeries

Chat with a native speaker for extra practice. Come and speak to our language advisors in Talkshop 1 each week. Advisors are available for French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese and English.

Conversation groups

Improve your language skills with people of a similar level.

Conversation groups are led by native speaking students. They're a great way to improve your speaking skills in a relaxed and informal setting.

We offer beginner's level all the way to advanced, for several languages. Check the times for each group. (PDF: 273 KB)
