Weekend closure of Philip Robinson Library on 1st and 2nd April

To enable essential maintenance of the electrical power system in the Philip Robinson Library to take place we will need to fully shut down the electrical supply to the building. For this work to be completed quickly and safely the Library will be closed on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd April. We will be open as normal until 5pm on Friday 31st March and reopen again at 8.30am on Monday 3rd April.

The Marjorie Robinson Library Rooms and the Walton Library will be open 10am - 10pm as usual during that weekend. Both offer plenty of study spaces, wi-fi and computers.

Access to the Library website, Library Search and access to ejournals and ebooks will continue uninterrupted. However the following online services will not be available:

  • Desktop Delivery Service (DDS)
  • Reading Lists Online
  • Special Collections' Collections Captured

We apologise for any inconvenience this closure may cause. If you have any queries regarding this upcoming closure of the Philip Robinson Library please contact libraryhelp@ncl.ac.uk
