Invitation to oral histories presentation, 11 July

The Friends of the University Library invite you to a presentation by Sue Bradley entitled Book Trade Lives and other oral histories on Wednesday 11 July at 6.15pm in the Robinson Library, Room 152.

About the presenter
Sue has worked with oral history for nearly twenty years. From 1998 to 2007 she led the Book Trade Lives oral history recording programme for National Life Stories at the British Library Sound Archive, and subsequently edited The British Book Trade: An Oral History (British Library, 2008). Since 2007 she has been based at the Centre for Rural Economy, Newcastle University, where she is currently working on oral history of veterinary practice, in collaboration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Trust and the British Library (archive partners).
