Too noisy to study?
The Robinson Library Noise Alert service has resumed.
Levels 3 and 4 are designated silent areas. If some-one is disturbing your study by making a noise, or chatting with their neighbour you can text us and a member of staff will patrol the area as soon as they can.
Text 07891 484 764 with the following details:
- Floor level
- Your location e.g next to liaison offices, next to 900 books
- Brief details of the problem
If you want to work in a group you can use the Group Study rooms (some are bookable)
work on Level 2 Open Space - quiet group work
work on Level 1 Your Space - discussion area
Our aim is to work with our readers to provide a comfortable and quiet environment to study in.
If you are unwilling to comply with these guidelines you will be asked to move to another level where noise is acceptable and if the problem persists you could be asked to leave the building.
Please use the stairwells or café to make and receive phonecalls.
