I am a Faculty Liaison Librarian within HASS, with specific responsibility for the following Schools, where I support teaching, learning and research:
  • Geography
  • Politics
  • Sociology
  • The Business School
  • Architecture, Planning and Landscape

I'm also responsible for supporting staff and students on Business programmes running in London.

I've been in my current role for four years. Previously working as a Assistant Librarian at the University of Sunderland, supporting Business, Tourism and Work Based Learning. Before that I worked in several roles within the Robinson Library, Newcastle University supporting the SAgE Faculty and working in Customer Services.

I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy

I am a Chartered member of CILIP (Chatered Institute of Library and Information Professionals)

I am also a member of the Business Librarians Association (BLA) and Architecture Librarians Group (ARCLIB).

I teach information literacy related topics on various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the Schools for which I am responsible.

I am module leader for HSS8002 : Information Skills (Social Sciences strand) This module is part of the HASS Postgraduate Research Training Programme.
