As a division of the University Library, the borrowing rights in the Law Library are the same as the normal Library borrowing rights, with the exception of the Law Library Student Texts Collection.
Law Library Student Texts Collection
The Student Texts Collection, also known as the STC, contains library materials, such as textbooks and copies of book chapters and journal articles, which are in heavy demand or have been deemed as essential reading by a member of Law Staff.
The STC is held in the Law Library Office. Please ask any member of Library Staff if you want to borrow materials from this collection.
Most STC materials may be borrowed for 4 hours during the day, for use in the Law Library only, and after 5.00pm (6.00pm when the Library is open until 10.00pm) until 9.30am the next day (10.30am on Saturday and Sunday).
The Borrowing guidelines are:Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
