Book reviews

These are usually written by subject specialists and can be short reviews of a particular title or general articles relating to the subject of the book or books under review.

Many journals include book reviews on the specific subjects covered by the journal and many subject databases that index journal articles will also index book reviews.

Newspapers include book reviews, especially the weekend issues. Current newspapers are kept on Level 2 of the Robinson Library; earlier years are available online in the News section of the Lexis®Library databases service.
