Periodicals

The Library subscribes to a range of electronic databases covering most disciplines, which you can use to trace periodical articles on your research topic.
These allow you to search large amounts of data quickly and you can download references in electronic format for use later in preparing your bibliographies.
An increasing number provide links to the full text of the articles retrieved.

Most databases are available on the World Wide Web, although a few are available from stand alone PCs in the Library. Many databases require a Campus ID and password.
