Film

Film Studies videos are available from the STC on Level 2 of the Robinson Library. Viewing equipment is located on levels 3 and 4.

Collections of films are also held in the Open Access Centre, Old Library Building and in the School of English. Films on video can be borrowed from the City Library.

Music scores including sets of complete works are located in the compact shelving on Level 1 of the Robinson Library.

Fine Art holds a large collection of slides and the Hatton Gallery houses over 3,500 works including painting, sculpture, prints, drawing and many other media.

Engineering

  • Structural Images of the North East (SINE) project provides thousands of images from the North East region of structures of every description. A searchable database allows you to look for a particular structure, browse by structure type or use a map to locate structures in a certain geographic area.

Architecture

  • The University's partnership project with Lambeth Palace Library will enable the digitisation of all the plans in the archive of the Incorporated Church Building Society. For further details see SINE: Lambeth Palace Library
