  • House of Commons Hansard
    This database contains the full text of the official report of the House of Commons starting from 1989/1990 and taken from the fortnightly bound edition of Hansard. It includes debates, oral and written questions and answers and division lists.
    It is available from the Library's Database Network.

  • PROfiles This database is a selection of full-text Public Record Office documents from:
    • The Prime Minister's Office (correspondence and papers)
    • The Cabinet and Cabinet Office since 1945
    • The Foreign Office
    • Ministry of Defence: Chiefs of Staff Correspondence
    PROfiles is located on a database PC on Level 3 of the Robinson Library.

  • Census Data for England and Wales
    A guide to the 1981 and 1991 census material in the Library can be found here.
    Earlier census material is located at GPS-CEN or in the microfiche cabinets on Level 4 of the Robinson Library.
     
  • The BOPCRIS project (British Official Publications Collaborative Reader Information Service)
    is a web-based finding tool for over 23,000 British Official Publications from 1688 to 1995. There are abstracts and detailed subject indexing. A small selection of documents are available as full text.
