Open All@Ncl: Funding for Open Access
Open All is a pilot fund which has been established to support researchers in placing their articles in high profile open access journals. It is managed by the Library and is open to anyone who has had an article accepted for OA publication who does not have access to any alternative funding source to pay for these fees.
If you require assistance with filling out the Open All application form, please select from the following options:
- Is the article I'm about to have published eligible for Open All funding?
- Which journals does the Open All fund cover?
Otherwise, you can go directly to:
What next after my application?
After you have submitted your application and it is eligible, the Open All team will contact you in order to obtain your signature for the publisher's license. This could take up to three working days. If the application is not eligible, you will be duly notified. The Library will liaise with publishers to facilitate payment of the Open Access fees and will track and log subsequent citations.
