Databases, e-journals and e-books

E-resourcesThe library provides access to a wide range of electronic databases, journals and e-books which can all be accessed off campus. In most cases you will need to use your campus ID and password unless otherwise stated.

Use Library Search to search and filter by e-resource type, or click on the tabs below to find out more about specific resource types.

Databases

All databases are included in Library Search. After performing your search you can use the filters to restrict results to show only databases.

E-journals

Explore e-journals by A-Z or subject area using BrowZine.

Alternatively, search for individual titles using Library Search. After performing your search you can use the filters to restrict results to only show e-journals.

E-books

The majority of the library’s e-books can be found in Library Search, both as collections or individual e-book titles.

The library also provides access to a collection of loanable e-books called EBL (Ebook Library) where you can request 7 day access for an e-book you need. You can search across this collection here www.ncl.eblib.com/EBLWeb or by searching for ‘EBL’ in Library Search and clicking on ‘View online’.
