New resources
If you own an e-book reader, you may also be able to use it to read Library resources. We recommend that you link to resources using your own PC or laptop, rather than a cluster PC whenever possible, to avoid any conflict in registering the reader.
- Most e-book readers can read pdf files, so you will be able to download electronic journal articles and e-books which are presented as pdf (such as the Knovel collection)
- If your reader uses the EPUB format (all Sony Readers) you will also be able to download books from EBook Library (EBL) and Netlibrary.
- Readers which use the mobipocket format (eg the Kindle, Bebook, Cybook) can download in pdf format as well, but may not be able to use the EPUB resources.
