 Internet Library of Early Journals

ILEJ, the "Internet Library of Early Journals" was a joint project by the Universities of Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and Oxford to digitise 18th and 19th century journals (project ended in 1999). The full text of at least 20 years of the following journals is available. Gentleman's Magazine, The Annual Register and Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society from the eighteenth century. Notes and Queries, The Builder and Blackwood's Edinburgh Magazine from the nineteenth century.
