Laptop loans

We have 30 laptops available for loan to Newcastle University staff and students - register for the scheme at the Service Desk on Level 2 of the Robinson Library. You can download an application form by clicking here.

Windows 7 laptops
May 2012 - we have new loanable laptops which are faster, easier to use and more reliable.
You can connect to your University Home folder and use Office, Skype and EndNote without using RAS.

  • The laptops can be loaned for up to 4 hours
  • Available from 9am - 8.30pm Mon-Thurs; 9am -6.30 pm Fri; 10 am - 5.00 Sat and 10.30 am - 5.00 Sun.
  • For use in the Library only
  • Bring the completed form to the Service Desk in the Robinson Library to register
