Special Collections
The Robinson Library's Special Collections is a unique and diverse resource which supports academic research and teaching.
While the Reading Room is closed for refurbishment, Special Collections materials may be consulted in the Committee Room.
Please submit requests for material in advance, in the usual way. See here for further information on how to do this.
We have over 100 collections of material which range in scope from rare books and archives to woodblocks and illustrations. Our collections span in date from the mid 15th century to the 21st century, however the majority date from the 18th to 20th century.
Special Collections has launched a unique range of merchandise.
A guide book, postcards, note cards and bookmarks based on material held in the Robinson Library's Special Collections are now available to buy.
Please see the display cabinet on level 2, enquire at the issue counter or contact Special Collections for further information.
