The Pybus Papers are a separate collection comprising the personal papers of Professor Pybus. The papers contain a large amount of correspondence on the subjects of book-collecting, the donation of Professor Pybus' library to Newcastle University, atmospheric pollution and cancer. There are also letters on professional matters, and correspondence with medical journals, M.P.s and government departments, as well as the Press and television.

In addition, there are minutes and memoranda of the Gateshead and District Hospital Management Committee and other hospital committees, as well as a variety of personal material.
