The University Library's Meade Collection contains books wrtten by L. T. Meade (Elizabeth Thomasina Meade Smith 1854-1914) a writer of novels for girls and women.

As well as adding to the Library's research collections in the field of children's literature, the collection has many fine illustrated and decorative bindings.
