The Treasure of the Month for December is an illustration is taken from one of the 3 volumes of Crawhall Jottings in Special Collections.

The volumes include many watercolours by Crawhall of natural scenes, and in particular, many fishing scenes.

The jottings are part of a larger collection of Crawhall material which includes woodblocks, letters and proofs of publications.
