If you are a smartcard holder, there will be some collections which can only be consulted in the Reading Room, but others which can be collected from the main counter on Level 2, for use anywhere within the Library.

Collections which can be collected from Level 2 are listed here.
(Please note: Material from these collections which is in a fragile condition may be restricted to use in the Special Collections Reading Room.)

When you request an item(s) from Special Collections a confirmatory e-mail will be sent to you, when the item is available, telling you where it/they can be collected from.

External users can only consult items in the Reading Room.
